For the last 20 years, Rod DeVore has been working with youth and families in the Nashville community to pursue the development of high quality programs, fostering systems change, and mobilizing leaders to solve complex problems. He has done this work in the context of community engagement efforts, coalition building, non-profit leadership, collective impact initiatives, and in workforce development. He is currently the Director of 2-Gen Initiatives at the United Way of Greater Nashville. In this role, Rod leads the work of The Family Collective focused on preventing and ending family homelessness. In addition, his drive to invest in shaping community leadership has led him to serve as an Adjunct Professor with the Center for Social Justice at Trevecca Nazarene University, a facilitator with the Center for Non-Profit Management, and as an ordained minister. Rod received his Bachelors of Religion from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University.
