Course Description

This course provides a generalized overview of ethical standards and expectations among helping professionals with specified nuance for the organizational values of United Way TN, as well as The Family Collective. The course will define ethical dilemmas as well as provide a standard or practice for ethical decision making including the importance of policy fidelity, boundaries with clients and self care.

Sara Amos Counseling

Sara Amos (She/Her) is an LCSW and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional from Nashville, TN. Since 2005, she has been working in a variety of community mental health settings and now owns a private practice primarily focused on supporting and empowering helping professionals. She has unique insight and experience with compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma that helps to inform her practice as well as the path of healing on which she guides her clients. In addition to caring for Nashville’s helpers, Sara enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two boys.
