Course Description

We will provide a brief overview of what financial counseling looks like from a client's perspective, taking a deeper dive into the various aspects of budgeting and closing with an overview of credit, specifically as it relates to housing.

Financial Counselor, Dominion Financial Management

Regina Harvey and her husband, Ron started Dominion Financial Management in 1999. They are grateful to have celebrated Dominion’s 22nd Anniversary on April 1, 2021. Regina serves as the Executive Director and wears many hats, her favorite being the role of Financial Coach. Regina has a passion for meeting new people and helping them discover and accomplish their financial goals. Since Dominion is a Christian ministry, opportunities for Regina to encourage her clients to allow faith to impact their finances is one of the most important things she can do. Regina has certificates in Financial Coaching, Home Buyer Education, Foreclosure Prevention and balances compassion and encouragement with knowledge to serve her clients to the best of her ability. Any day that she can help even one person is a great day.

Jamie Lewis-Stewart

Financial Counselor, Financial Empowerment Center

A native Tennessean, Jamie has worked in personal finance for thirteen years. With experience in banking, financial planning, and financial counseling, she leverages those skills to help clients realize and achieve their goals. She has been with the Financial Empowerment Center since August 2020 and recently completed the testing and counseling experience necessary to receive an industry certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor.
