Course Description

In this course we will review the NASW Code of Ethics as well as a more broad view of ethical guidance for non licensed helping professionals. We will discuss the nuances of ethical boundaries, protections and violations. We will evaluate various frameworks designed to facilitate ethical decision making and work through real world ethical dilemmas with discussion and team support.

Sara Amos (She/Her/Hers) is an LCSW and Mental Health Consultant. Since 2005, she has been working in a variety of community mental health settings including foster & adoption, psychiatric crisis, and the public school system. She now owns a private practice primarily focused on supporting helping professionals and empowering Non Profit Agencies to navigate the unique burdens that come with the sacred work of helping others. Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two boys.
