Course Description

This course will identify ways to connect with clients and assess their needs during crisis and crisis prevention - while promoting awareness of all the needs that must be maintained and managed through crisis prevention and de-escalation.

Program Manager, Employee and Consumer Safety

Traci Pekovitch is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Nashville, TN and a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with master's in counseling. She received her bachelor's degree from Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois. Traci has served on staff with Mental Health Cooperative, Inc. for the past 21 years. Her current role is Program Manager of Consumer and Employee Safety where she facilitates special staffing, reviews, and provides assistance to treatment teams in developing interventions to promote care and safety for all. Traci is a certified trainer in Therapeutic Options, Inc. a research based, person centered, relationship driven curriculum used to prevent and de-escalate crisis. Traci resides in Nashville with her six-and-a-half-year-old dog, Ryman.
