Course Description

This training is tailored for direct service staff who are responsible for enrolling TFC clients and entering self-reports and assessments into Salesforce. This training is immersive, and features role-play elements where theory meets practice, equipping you with skills to navigate assessments seamlessly. In this session, attendees will learn how to:

  • Ask questions that engage and connect with the client
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment
  • Efficiently set goals during assessments
  • Gain insight from initial assessments vs. assessments in six-month intervals 
  • Understand nuances between in-person assessments vs. those conducted online
  • Properly fill out the necessary forms with ease

Lakreasha Schacklet, LMSW

Client Care Manager, The Family Collective

LaKreasha Scharcklet is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), and she currently works for United Way of Greater Nashville in The Family Collective initiative as the Client Care Manager. She has worked in this role for a little under a year and prior to this role she was a Family Coach within TFC for over 2 years. LaKreasha also works part-time as a remote therapist for a suboxone clinic for individuals struggling with opioids addictions. Most of LaKreasha’s career so far has been working with individuals/families experiencing homelessness and working in the addictions field. LaKreasha is passionate about working with others in a way that promotes dignity and collaboration, while also practicing good ethical decision making. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and putting on a new set of press on nails.
